Download FAQ

What are the system requirements for Onda?

macOS 12 Monterey or later, Apple Silicon processor (M1, M2, M3, M4). Intel Mac support is on the roadmap. At least 200MB free disk space and 500MB free RAM for typical usage.

How do I install Onda?

Download the latest Onda.dmg from this page. Open the DMG, drag Onda.app to /Applications, then launch from Applications or Spotlight. macOS will verify the notarization on first launch — this takes a few seconds.

Is Onda notarized by Apple?

Yes. Onda is code-signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. You will not see "unknown developer" warnings on modern macOS. Auto-update is also signed, so updates apply without re-verification.

How does auto-update work?

Onda checks for updates on launch and every 24 hours. When a new version is available, Onda downloads in the background and prompts to install on next restart. Disable auto-update in Settings > General if you prefer manual control.

Can I install Onda via Homebrew?

Homebrew cask support is on the roadmap. For now, download directly from this page. Once Homebrew cask lands, `brew install --cask onda` will install and keep it up to date alongside your other casks.
