How much does Onda cost?
Onda has a Free tier with all core terminal features (split panes, tabs, 3 workspaces, plugins, MCP) and three Pro tiers: $3/month, $29/year (save 19%), or $59 one-time lifetime. Pro unlocks unlimited workspaces, premium themes, and priority support.
Is the Free tier really free forever?
Yes. The Free tier is permanently free, no credit card, no trial countdown. You can use Onda indefinitely without upgrading. Pro is purely additive — unlimited workspaces, premium themes, and priority support.
What payment methods are supported?
Onda uses Polar for billing. Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and a growing list of regional methods (SEPA, iDEAL, Apple Pay) are supported. Lifetime purchases are one-time and receipt is emailed instantly.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Monthly and yearly plans can be canceled any time from the Polar portal — access remains through the billing period. Lifetime purchases are refundable within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email support for help.
Can I use Pro on multiple Macs?
Yes. A Pro license activates on up to 3 machines for a single user. If you replace a Mac, you can deactivate the old one from Settings and activate the new. There is no per-device fee.
Is there a team or enterprise plan?
Not yet — Onda is individual-first. If your team needs centralized billing, volume licenses, or enterprise SSO, email support and we will add you to the team-plan waitlist. Most teams today just buy Pro Lifetime individually.
Student or non-profit discount?
Pro Lifetime ($59) is already cheap enough that most students pay it directly. For verified non-profits or educational institutions licensing multiple seats, email support with your documentation — we usually apply a 50% discount.
